Dr. Shields performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. From the first visit, through surgery, follow-up appointments and phone calls he was most professional, attentive, and an excellent surgeon. He takes as much time as needed with his patients, never rushes anyone and answers all questions. I definitely would recommend Dr. Shields to everyone. More

I called Dr. Shields office on a Friday at 5PM with spots and lightning strikes in my eyes. I had an appointment with him at 7AM the next morning. After his examination, he ensured that I was seen by Retina Specialist, for a retinal tear, within a couple of hours on the same day. I was impressed with the care provided during a holiday weekend.
