Meet Dr. Brothers
Dr. Whitney Brothers is a board-certified ophthalmologist at West County Ophthalmology. She earned her undergraduate and doctor of medicine degrees at the University of Missouri-Kansas. During the course of her studies, she was awarded a Chancellor's scholarship and Clinical Honors Clerkship. Furthering her education and training, Dr. Brothers served as an intern and a transitional resident at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at St. Louis University Eye Institute, where she was a recipient of research and patient care awards.
Professional Organizations and Societies
Dr. Brothers joined West County Ophthalmology in 2009 and practices at the St. Luke’s and Winghaven locations. She became a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2010 and is a member of the following professional organizations:
- American Academy of Ophthalmology
- Missouri Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons
- Missouri State Medical Association
Personal Interests
Dr. Brothers spends her spare time with her husband and two sons.
